The Women's Institute put in tremendous effort to fundraise for the Barrow Life Boat Rescue. They presented a cheque for £1,762 to the Barrow Ladies Lifeboat Guild, which was generated from a range of Women’s Institute events. This total includes a generous £500 donation from Rowland.
The RNLI lifeboat crews, located near our Levens View development in Ulverston, provide 24-hour search and rescue services to protect hundreds of communities across the UK and Ireland. They depend on reliable lifeboats and modern stations for their operations.
Sales and Marketing Director at Rowland, Jen Brown says “We are delighted to support this worthy cause. The Barrow life boat team works tirelessly throughout the year to ensure public safety and we hope that we are making a positive contribution to help their success.”
