Buying a new home can seem like a daunting experience – especially for first time buyers, but it doesn’t have to be with Rowland! Here’s a handy guide to help you understand the process and what to expect. 

• Make a list of your preferences and non-negotiables in a new home for example size, number of bedrooms, kitchen layout or garden size, so our Sales Executive can guide you to the most appropriate house types when you visit our marketing suite.

• Visit your chosen Rowland development to take a tour of our stunning show homes and speak to our friendly Sales Executives to find out more about our available properties.

• Once you have found the new home you wish to purchase you will need to speak to a Financial Advisor to obtain advice and qualify for a mortgage in principle, you will also need to arrange for a solicitor to act on your behalf of the buying process. If you wish your Sales Executive can provide you with a panel of Independent Financial Advisors and Solicitors who can assist you with this process.

Reserve your dream home with a reservation fee of just £500.

• From reservation you will have 42 days to progress to exchange contracts, your Solicitor and Financial Advisor will guide you through this process along with the support of Rowland. Upon exchange you will pay the balance of your deposit

• Your Sales Executive will update you weekly on the progress of your new home.

• When your new home reaches the pre-plaster stage, you will be invited to site to take a tour around.

• Just before completion you will be invited to come back to the development so that your Rowland Sales Executive and Site Manager can complete your home demonstration, providing you with a tour of you new home.

• Once your new home is ready for handover you will legally complete and receive the keys allowing you to celebrate and enjoy your new Rowland home.

• Our Sales Executive and Construction Team will be on hand throughout your customer journey and to answer any questions, big or small, you may have.
